I see there are no such '\n' after a closed xml tag. I create a simple keyboard-macro like: (fset 'add-returns-in-xml [?\C-s ?< ?/ right ?\C-s ?> right left return]) which add after every close tag a '\n'. Due to the fact this macro only add one return I start this macro as much as possible.
