In 3.2 I still see the problem, but it is so much faster that it is less of an issue. Steps: * open writer * start new document * insert table * insert keys (they come from a openoffice spreadsheet) * generate letter (F4) If a table is inserted in the document it is slow. The output format does not matter (pdf or odt): if a table is there its slow.
