I cannot confirm it. Copy&Paste works without problems for DEV300m73 and
Seamonkey 2.0.3 on WinXP.
Do you use an upstream OOo or do you use the version provided with Ubuntu?
What browser do you use?
How does it "crash" (Running to 100% CPU, silently close, do not respond,...) ?
Has an error report been created?
