And believe me, this can most probably be fixed without a new configuration entry. Please leave it up to the experts *how* a bug gets fixed. Hint: If an ftp client tries EPSV and the server answers that it does not understand this mode, a clever client could fully automatically switch to PASV and retry... This is what I what I have in mind for a fix.
