------- Additional comments from office...@openoffice.org Mon Mar 22 12:06:50 +0000 2010 ------- Hi I have spent a frustrating amount of time trying to get a simple dl envelope to print correctly. I have used the same technique as with other releases of openoffice writer. At first I could not understand what was happening. Why was the envelope only partially printed with part of the page - it looked ok on the print preview. Having experimented for some time I have concluded that openoffice writer when printing an DL envelope does not change the size of the paper from A4 and therefore prints of the page. Also does the same in whatever linux distro is being used. I downgraded openoffice in debian lenny from 3.2 to the standard defaut for debain 2.4.1 and printed the envelope with no problem. Also tried with abiword. Again no problem. But what is it with openoffice writer and envelopes? Dont you developers think that a word processor needs consistent standard for envelopes? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
