------- Additional comments from tserr...@openoffice.org Tue Mar 23 12:19:13 +0000 2010 ------- If you set the flag to open a file readonly by default (Extras -> Options -> OpenOffice.org -> Securtiy -> Open this file readonly) OpenOffice creates lockfile as soon as the file is opened. This differs from the behaviour, when an editable file is switched to readonly manually (via toolbar): The lockfile will be removed.
