User yelo3 changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|CLOSED |REOPENED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WORKSFORME | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from ye...@openoffice.org Wed Mar 24 15:50:28 +0000 2010 ------- 1) A quality of 90% should be quite good for an image. In fact when converting an image in GIMP from PNG to JPEG with a quality of 90% it has a really good quality. The same image in openoffice looks really bad (even if exported with lossless) 2) The difference (between JPEG 90% and lossless) of an 11 pages document of text and 6 small images is 8KB. The default settings does not save enough space (except if you save to a floppy disk, of course) to justify this quality loss. There must be something wrong with the algorithm used in the export, so I'll reopen waiting for your feedback. I can provide more screenshots and files if you want. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
