hmmm... turns out that this runtime XML DOM has its disadvantages :)
because the meta.xml is allowed to contain arbitrary XML elements below
office:meta, we can't really know where it's possible to add whitespace for
pretty printing.
so the easiest fix for this issue is simply to not add any whitespace ever.
so no more pretty printing.
but meta.xml usually isn't so big, so that is probably not much of a problem.
