Checked A, C and E checkboxes. 3. Save back. 4. Open with Word Viewer. As seen in the screenshot OOSample-Checked.jpg, those checboxes are correctly checked in Word. It seems to confirm that the problem is located in the open-export part of the WW8 filter.
