(encountered during a training couse - using 8 computers/laptops) It appears also on Ubuntu 9.10 running OOo 3.1. Other work arounds found: - click on the fontwork image outside the margings (in the right margin) - add another fontwork. Then both fontworks can be selected as expected Note: It is clear that clicking on an 'empty' area will not select the fontwork.
