Hi,

While working on a .odt text document I noticed an unwanted behavior in
OpenOffice, which can be verified both in Linux and Windows, versions 3.0 though
3.2.

The issue can be reproduced in a simple way:

1 - Type a line of text with a reasonable amount of characters, for example:
"ABCDEFGHIJKLM"
2 - Select and copy a small substring from this line, say, "ABC".
3 - Select a substring from this line bigger than "ABC" and located after it,
for example, "DEFGHI"
4 - Paste the first selection (pass #2) over the second one (pass #3).

The result will look like this: "ABCABCJK IJK", where IJK at the end is just
"visual garbage", for it can't be selected and disappears as soon as you force
redrawing by scrolling the affected area out and in again, or by minimizing and
restoring the window.
