------- Additional comments from jsjacob...@openoffice.org Sat Apr 3 14:47:30 +0000 2010 ------- Outline mode, using Navigator, is enormously useful with large docs. However, the "heading level" control has limited utility, and does not facilitate "fluid" expand/collapse of the outline. It would be *VERY* useful to have a control which: 1) With one button, collapsed the existing levels shown in Navigator by 1 level. a) Re-positioned the highlight within Navigator to the immediately-superior level heading (if the previously-highlighted heading has been collapsed), rather than at the top of the Navigator window, b) Left the cursor position in the document unchanged. 2) With another button, expended existing levels show in Navigator by 1 level. a) Re-positioned the highlight within Navigator the immediately-superior level heading (if the heading relating to the current cursor position remains hidden). b) Left the cursor position in the document unchanged.
