I tried to replicate the bug and i did it. I confirm the condition.
As the reporter says when a projector is attached and the presentation is on 
slide show the event of pressing Fn+F8 ( that is the designated key for 
changing to projector on my laptop) did cause a black screen. I was unable to 
change to the next slide and the animations stoped working.

A little extra info is that this bug doesnt happen if you attach the device on 
properties of your display before even opening impress, instead of using the 
funtion key of the laptop at the time the presentation has started.

 i also tried with diferent resolutions and the same bug happened.

a tip for the next report, try to make the summary more descriptive of the 
error, since that is the only information that the issue query shows about your 
report.
