You don't have the time to look for duplicates and apparently not the time to
read the guidelines for reporting issues.
This issue is invalid because it deals with different problems.
For the first one, there's currently an UX project about the defaults :

you could add your proposal.
For the second one, there is a support mailing list (us...@openoffice.org) which
can help you.
