------- Additional comments from hardy...@openoffice.org Thu Apr 15 22:55:17 +0000 2010 ------- OK. I have tried it: When I turn off the usage of hardware acclearation in OO, then it does NOT crash any more during presentation mode. :) Alternativly I can also leave this ticked on in OO and turn the hardware acclearation off in Windows, that also helps. Suggestion: Is it a thinkable option to have this hardware accelaration turned off by DEFAULT in OO ? I understand that this might implicate some performance loss for all users. But it also means to avoid very nasty blue screen crashes for some (increasingly more) netbook users! I think I have read somewhere during my web searches for this crash, that MS Powerpoint has the hardware acclearation turned off during presentation mode by default. I cannot judge this, but the Powerpoint Viewer had no problems/ crashes when displaying the same presentation on my netbook under Win XP. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
