------- Additional comments from nav...@openoffice.org Tue Apr 20 23:40:20 +0000 2010 ------- This relates even to older versions of OpenOffice. During startup of application (usualy Writter or Calc), in time when there is loading screen, OpenOffice tries to connect to internet. When internet is unavailable at the moment (some router or wifi is dead), this causes significant and unskippable delay in startup. I don't like the idea of having to shutdown all network interfaces and services running on them, just because wifi has 1-5 minute outage. In corporate enviroment it's not even possible (and network error will be solved faster, than my servicedesk). Therefore, I would like an option to disable this, whatever is causing it. Be it option in application (group Internet), command line option to icons or even edit somewhere in ~/.ooo3, I'll do it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
