------- Additional comments from xandr...@openoffice.org Thu Apr 22 21:17:01 +0000 2010 ------- When I type 1+ in a previously empty table cell the plus sign immediately disappears. Quite bizarre. If I put another character immediately after the plus sign then it seems to work. Precise steps to reproduce: 1) Start a new blank document. 2) Insert a 2 by 2 table. 3) Type "1+" ignoring quotes in to the top left cell. 4) If you type space now or click away from where the carat is now then the + disappears. Attempts to fix this issue: 1) Googled it and couldn't find anything. 2) FAQ currently has a database error (have emailed the webmaster ;)) 3) Switched off ALL autocorrect features. 4) Tried trawling through options but didn't find anything obvious. If this isn't a software bug then it's definitely a design bug as it's a highly irrational piece of behaviour. By default this behaviour if expected should be disabled at the very least. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
