------- Additional comments from philippe_maes_...@openoffice.org Sun Apr 25 17:42:25 +0000 2010 ------- I've been trying repeatedly today to install the complete OpenOffice 3.2 (with Java) from http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/stable/3.2.0/OOo_3.2.0_Win_x86_ins tall-wJRE_en-US.exe. During the stage identified by "Status: Updating component registration" I got an error box with "Internal Error 2908 {2457ACBB-763F-F46E-1560-7717266E6C1}. After acknowledging the message by pressing the OK button in the error box, I got the same message with a different sequence betseen the accolades, and so on, seemingly forever. I then resolved to abort the procedure unsing the Task Manager, uninstall OpenOffice using "Ajout/Suppression de Programmes" in the Control Panel and start over again.
