I recently purchased software integrated to work with MS Excel. To activate,
they apparently use the macro functions when the template is loaded. Macros
were set on "low" to enable their use. It did not work and their response was:

"The UTA is not compatible with Open Office.

The macros that we use are very intense in programming this worksheet and use
the full functionality of excel.

Open office is a limited version of excel."

It was my understanding that Open Office was fully functional. Is what they
say true? or is there something else that needs to be done to fully enable the
macros?

Thanks, Ike Wiley
