For instance, if you select “Align to the right” the following element will be aligned to the right of the page, not to the right of the tabstop itself. Usercase: I want to set up a TOC in which the chapter numbers are aligned this way (the underscore represent a space to show alignment): ... __9___Chapter _10___Chapter but now I can only obtain the following ... _9____Chapter _10___Chapter by adding to TOC's tabstops the same alignment capabilities you find on paragraph's tabstops this would be easy to accomplish with an arrangement like this one: T E# T E T # with the first "T" aligned to the right of the tabstop itself, the second to the left and the last one to the right of the page. Only workaround I found is to NOT use the chapter numbers on the TOC, but to set "index 1" paragraph style to use a numbering style properly aligned that mimic chapter numbers.
