You should change the file format from "text/plain" to "image/jpeg" or so the next time ... ;) ) and can confirm this issue with the Germanophone OOO320m17 under Debian SID AMD64 ... :( Short instruction: 1. Download search.odg as well as search2.odg 2. Open them in OOo 3.
