I have had a few instances of clicking on a file to open or trying to start SCalc from the Start Menu will not show the program. The cursor will become a hour glass for a short period, then go back to the normal cursor. If I look at the running processes in the Task Manager, I see multiple instances of scalc and soffice. The only way I have found I can start OpenOffice is to reboot the computer.
