------- Additional comments from vidya_o...@openoffice.org Tue Jun 1 17:39:05 +0000 2010 ------- Issue 97897 Impress crashed I had faced with of problem of "OO Impress crash" on Windows Vista and therefore, I tried to search the database of issues for "Impress Crash". After reading all comments regarding this issue, I tried to reproduce the problem. I created several documents viz. presentation document, database document,text document,math and draw document with some data in each of these using OpenOffice 3.0. Master slide in presentation document was also modified by me. All documents were kept open simultaneously, but there was no crash any time. This test was performed on windows/XP SP2/512 MB RAM. The attached file OOo3-Impress-Crash.log mentioned with the issue description, is not available now and so unable to determine the cause though the other attached file gave some more details. On Windows Vista /SP2 /2GB RAM, same documents were created, kept opened and while trying to save these, OO 3.0 crashed. This happened a few times. However, after closing all other running applications, the problem of saving documents and crash was also solved. Thus some additional information, regarding other applications running during the time of crash, will be helpful to determine the cause of crash. Similarly, information on message displayed, if any, after the crash such as "OpenOffice.org Document Recovery....Start Recovery...Sending Error report..... etc. ", will also be helpful in understanding the cause.
