Since DEV300_m70 the improved OpenSymbol font (issue 105084) provides more
whitespace chars suitable for
glyph fallback, so this issue is fixed. This should suffice for almost all use
cases, except when the target font has an
unusual advance width for U+0020. Exotic fonts like that should also provide
matching glyphs for the other space
chars.
