Issue 12686 requests that multiple files be opened in a single Writer window. This issue requests that multiple Writer documents be stored in a single ODT file, just as multiple sheets can be stored in a single ODS file. For instance, I am writing an essay in three languages. I need all three of those documents to be in a single file. In Calc this is easy, the user opens a single file and he can have multiple sheets. It is exactly this sheet feature of Calc that I suggest for Writer as well. I had tried to use Master Documents, but it is the exact opposite of what I need: Master Documents lets multiple files be combined into a single document. I need a single file to hold multiple documents. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
