From the Form Controls toolbar, I set Design Mode On 3. From the Form Controls toolbar, I click on Combo Box and draw a combox box control on the spreadsheet 4. I right-click on the combox box control and select Control. The Properties dialog appears. 5. I select the Data tab of the Properties dialog 6. I insert A1:A2 in the 'Source cell range' field 7. Calc crashes with the message I mentioned earlier. I'm using OOO310m19 (Build:9420) which is available through the Karmic repository.
