------- Additional comments from l...@openoffice.org Wed Jun 23 11:31:22 +0000 2010 ------- On Windows, the default option of the installer is "Complete". This means that all modules will be installed, ignoring the pre-selection of modules. This is in conflict with the new (3.3) feature of bundled extensions that are integrated into the installer. There will be some bundled extensions which won't be installed by default, as they alter the OOo UI. The option "Complete" not only is uncommon on Windows, it also conflicts with the default option "Standard" in our Java GUI installer on Linux and Unix. Please adjust the Windows default to "Standard" (or whatever term is more appropriate), including the GUI strings as well as the installer behavior (=install only pre-selected modules). Frank L.: Please check with Ingo to find out if we can re-use the strings from the Java GUI installer. Frank P.: Please check if this change affects documentation. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
