------- Additional comments from ly...@openoffice.org Wed Jun 23 18:34:14 +0000 2010 ------- Impress gives the following error message when trying to specify a sound file: xxx.wav is not a valid sound file. I tried several sound files, all failed. The sound files play fine in Windows media player. In version 3.1 this worked. I had a presentation with embedded sounds that worked. As I worked on the presentation to add more slides one of the sound files was mysteriously deleted. When I tried to add it back in, the above error message was displayed. So, I updated to version 3.2, now all of the sound files are missing from the presentation and I cannot add them back in. As a test, I tried adding a sound object to the slide via Media player. This worked (I used the same file that was rejected above), but the sound ended at the slide transition--I need the sound to keep playing for several slides. This may be due to an update to Windows 7 which broke Impress. Run on Windows 7 home premium version 6.1.7600 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
