You don't print documents directly on a printer but send it to a PDF creator
(CUPS PDF printer), right?
Maybe a problem with a specific document?
Please attach this document.
Please also have a look at /var/log/cups/error_log.
You might attach (but please NOT copy/paste in the description field!) log to
the issue.
