------- Additional comments from c...@openoffice.org Mon Jul 5 14:04:49 +0000 2010 ------- I was talking to someone recently, and they were complaining about their user dictionary not working. When I looked at it I saw that it was a "format 2" dictionary and all the words in it were simply comprised of "?" question marks. What I think happened was that they had an old blank personal dictionary stuck at "format 2" and when they added words to it, it stayed in format 2, but they were trying to add Yiddish words to it and they couldn't be saved in the old limited encoding mechanism of the older format and so they ended up with junk. Would it make sense to auto migrate user dictionaries to the latest format when they are saved ?, that would avoid this sort of thing happening. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
