Please always mention the OOo version you are using and your operating system.
If you are using the OOo version of your Linux distribution, check this also in
a current and native OOo version from our site.
In this case, check that the default fonts under Format - Fonts aupport Arabic.
Feel free to reopen when you'll have checked this.
