I don't know the version of Word with which the document was created. When I open it with OOo Writer, I see extraneous characters that are NOT present when the document is viewed with Word. That is, the person who created the document tells me the extraneous characters I see are not present when he views the document in Word. Additionally, the document author forwarded a PDF version of the file. I do not see the extraneous characters in the PDF file. I did not want to highlight them. I did not want to make even the slightest edit so that the original Word document is intact for your examination. [I will try to attach the document subsequently. I don't see the attachment option on this screen. If I recall, I can attach the document after submitting the issue. If that doesn't work, please email me to request the document.] I have listed the locations in the document where I see the extraneous characters: Page 3, section 1.4.1, "00000000" at beginning of section text. Page 3, section 1.4.1, Number "1" at beginning of sentence "Each Change Order..." Page 3, section 1.4.1.2, Number "1" at beginning of sentence "The amount of credit..."
