Both localhost:0 and 192.168.1.101:0 values resulted in the same problem... BTW, I doubt, the problem is FreeBSD-specific and think, there is something about the latest Xorg (perhaps mixed with the KDE-4.4.5, that's used for GUI)... I will try rebuilding with the GNOME/GTK interface now (which would be a shame, because this user's primary desktop is KDE-4).
