Still present in 3.2.1. A more striking example:

1. Write two words in Writer.
2. Select the first word and highlight it by clicking the icon. The word turns
yellow.
3. Select the second word and this time click the arrow to select the highlight
colour (red). The icon and the word turn red.
3. Now click the arrow again and select 'no highlight'. The highlight is removed
from the word, and the icon turns transparent.
4. Select the other word which is still highlighted in yellow and click the
transparent icon. The word turns red.

If the icon's behaviour is meant to be sticky then the current highlight colour
displayed on the icon should also be sticky. Now this is inconsistent.
