------- Additional comments from ru...@openoffice.org Fri Jul 16 23:39:12 +0000 2010 ------- I use Writer and Calc extensively, and at the same time, I have other applications running minimized in the system tray that I would otherwise control using global hotkeys or programmable softkeys on my keyboard; for instance, using the multimedia softkeys to control Winamp. No global hotkey method works while any OOO window is open and there seems to be no preference/option/whatnot that I can find that disables this annoyance.
