Add about four items for a bulletted list. Mark the frist three items (using the mouse). Select the button to reduce the font size (all four itmes are smaller now). Click anywhere to cancel the selection. Press "undo": The last item that changed font size is larger now, but the other two items still have the "old" size. So you changed three lines with one command, but undo will only affect one line.
