------- Additional comments from cor...@openoffice.org Fri Jul 30 16:32:42 +0000 2010 ------- In 3.2.0 and 3.2.1 I have seen this same issue from within the same ODT file. The key, of course, is to have a differently formatted last line in the pasted content than the preceeding/proceeding character of influence. At issue here, I believe, is the basic logic used in paste, e.g. 1. Delete, 2. Paste... the first step of delete forces pasted content to take on the characteristics of the adjoining content. The process should instead be, 1. Insert, 2. Paste, thus maintaining the formatting of the original content or selected content to be overwritten. This is a similar problem to trying to remove a hard return/page separator. Logically, as a user, I want to pull up the content from below, so I press delete to pull up the content, but when I do so my page header loses it's formatting. Meaning I have to illogically go to the next page header and back it up onto the previous page. Very annoying. I believe that these issues have to do with a current paradigm in the specification that starts with 1) Delete. See my bug at: 94771 and the closed calc bug of 56164. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
