------- Additional comments from ibytedo...@openoffice.org Fri Aug 6 14:47:30 +0000 2010 ------- Frequently, large amounts of data are copied from HTML tables on a website. This data is then copied into the spreadsheet using the Paste Special option, selecting HTML formatting. In many cases, once the data is formatted, it needs to be replicated elsewhere within the workbook, or even in some cases on the same sheet. For example, in the context of Real Estate, the same property listings may be used for comps against multiple different properties. Currently, a user is required to select an empty row and begin inserting enough blank rows to hold the data that will be pasted in. It would be preferred that once data is copied, the application would analyze the number of rows and columns required and present the use with an option to "Insert Copied..." in the context menu when right-clicking on a row header. The application would then automatically insert the appropriate number of blank rows and paste the data in a single command. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
