------- Additional comments from bat...@openoffice.org Mon Aug 9 12:25:45 +0000 2010 ------- The font menu can become very long with lots of entries. To reach the bottom entry the user has to scroll down a long list, which scrollls slowly and which is a tedious thing to do. Image a user who repeatedly wants to try out a different font for a piece of text. For every test he has to scroll down this very long list. The solution should be that for systems which have a large number of fonts installed the font menu should be split over several shorter ones. For instance with a hierarchy. Opening the font menu would show submenu's with fonts named A-G, H-M, N-S and T-Z. In this example 4 submenu's. Or any other solution which would make handling large number of fonts more userfriendly than the current state of affairs would be most welcome. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
