------- Additional comments from mario...@openoffice.org Wed Aug 18 08:09:29 +0000 2010 ------- Our journalists work with Ubuntu Linux (9.10) and use OpenOffice to write their tekst. This is saved in doc-format. Our prepress department uses these files to import the tekst in Adobe Indesign (CS4), to make a newspaper out of it, that gets printed. This way of working always worked fine, until I upgraded all the Ubuntu machines to 9.10. Now the layout is lost, in some cases, when the files are imported in Adobe Indesign. For example, if a text is made italic, this will be lost as soon as the tekst is imported in Indesign. This only seems to be the case with certain fonts. In this case the used font is Utopia. My own installation of OpenOffice (320m12) on Ubuntu 10.04 gives the same problem. When I save the same tekst, also in doc-format, with MS Office, everything works fine. So, it seems the problem is in OpenOffice. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
