------- Additional comments from jameshfis...@openoffice.org Mon Aug 30 10:46:41 +0000 2010 ------- Steps to reproduce ------------------ 1. Do a fresh install. 2. Open oowriter. 3. Type, including quotes, "The term 'freedom fighter' should be in quotation marks" Expected behaviour ------------------ The single and double quotes are transformed into smart quotes, like so: “The term ‘freedom fighter’ should be in quotation marks” Actual behaviour ---------------- Only the double quotes are transformed, and the single quotes are left as straight quotes, like so: “The term 'freedom fighter' should be in quotation marks” The fix ------- Under Tools -> AutoCorrect Options... -> Custom Quotes, in the 'single quotes' pane, the check box labelled 'Replace' is unchecked by default. It should in fact be checked, following the analogous check box for double quotes. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
