Save and reload the file, then select "Refresh" from the context menu in the DataPilot table. The field "Color" now has "Show items without data" set, and there's an entry for "orange". Double-click on the "Carrots" cell, then on "orange" (B7) and select field "Date". Now the DataPilot table has lot of empty results for "Apples".
