------- Additional comments from chrislyn...@openoffice.org Tue Aug 31 09:14:05 +0000 2010 ------- Some of my users experience this issue. when they open a writer or calc document, be it a new blank document or a save document sometime it will not open. The basic user will then try and open it again and again. Finally they contact myself and I found that if you run the task manager when it doesn't open, view the virtual memory column and kill the soffice.bin process that is consuming the most virtual memory it all other attempts to open the documents will open instantly. If a user also only tries to open the document once and nothing happens the same applies, in that I kill the soffice.bin (should only be one running) and then they try again it will work. This is happening randomly, different PCs, different hardware, software, different offices, on differnet networks. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
