I downloaded Maurice's test file with formatted queries this morning and checked that all the queries were formatted correctly when run on my machine. They were. But now they're not - see screen print in previous comment. I have also lost the formatting in queries from my own databases. I formatted these yesterday after loading 3.2.1 and shut down overnight.
