------- Additional comments from r4z...@openoffice.org Wed Sep 22 10:59:31 +0000 2010 ------- Open attached csv file in Calc. Create new odb file, or open existing one. Copy sheet by drag and drop, without primary key. Open table in edit mode, add pk to first filed "syslog_severity". Save table. The "syslog_severity" filed is unsuitable for PK, this contain several similar values. This scenario came from forum post, where beginner user copied sheet data and tried to add PK, after copy wizard. In OOO330m8 and DEV300m88, no error message, the gold key before first field. If You open Tools>Index design no pk added, no indexes. Close edit window, reopen table for edit, no pk selected. In OOo 3.2.1 you get error, when you click on save, confusing beginner users: SQL Status: S0011 Error code: -61 Constraint not foundtable has no primary key in statement [ALTER TABLE "Table1" DROP PRIMARY KEY] It is not understandable for beginner users. Both version are wrong, no suggestion. It is low severity issue, I set P4. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
