------- Additional comments from walter...@openoffice.org Tue Sep 28 15:03:43 +0000 2010 ------- Launching the OpenOffice Writer application via the Start Menu or via a desktop shortcut produces the following as expected results i.e. Format / Styles and Formatting / (Paragraph Styles) / Default - right click this item / Font tab displays a DEFAULT LANGUAGE. Thus, spell checking is enabled by default, great. However this expected default behaviour does not happen if a new OpenOffice Writer document is created another way i.e. while inside Microsoft Windows Explorer we create a new Writer document by right clicking inside Explorers right hand 'folders and files' window. Doing this creates a document which does NOT AUTOMATICALLY select a DEFAULT LANGAUGE thus SPELL CHECKING is NOT ENABLED by DEFAULT. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
