+0000 2010 -------
On my windows 2000 PC, I needed to uninstall various applications. One of these
was OO.o 3, so I ran the uninstall program and all seemed well.

The uninstall program also uninstalled some components of the MS C++ 9
redistributable package, namely msvcp90.dll and msvcr90.dll, from the system32
folder. These dll's are also used by other programs and should _not_ be removed
- in this case, it stopped my Avast anti-virus from loading!

I reinstalled OO.o and it put the files back, on uninstalling, it removed them
again! I can confirm that this is also the case on some installations of
Windows XP.

While the workaround is reinstalling the MS C++ redistributable, the effect is
not noticed until trying to run a program (Avast for example) that requires it,
and therefore appears to the user that they have a possible virus on their
system! This can cause a lot of error checking and searching for other
installed software support. I believe it should be fixed with some urgency!

I am sending this issue to the Avast! support team so that they are aware of it!
