If somebody stumbles on the same problem and is not in the mood to guess was hi 
means: open your document and use command "show, field name" (italian: 
visualizza, nome di campo). You will see that "next record" appears before the 
field and that's why it is shifted.

- open label2.odt.
- do not use "show, field names" - most of the users won't.
- press F4 to see database columns
- move for example the "city" header after "Institution" in the label
- enjoy ;-)

You may say "works as designed" but I think not, it is not really user 
friendly. A common non-technical user does not understand what is happening. 
And I did not see any OpenOffice manual explaining you mustn't move the fields 
on the last position if you don't want mail merge to shift everything.

Anyway I let you decide if it's worth reopening.
