For Word I can read and edit text within a doc file, however inserting pictures has met with mixed results. I have been testing all of these by opening xls and doc files with my favourite office suite, OOO v3.2.1 -I know that there is a lot of Java code in OOO. Is there a Java jar lib, or group of java jar libs, that are open source, may be coded from in a commercial situation (no commercial use with the libs themselves) that are part of OOO 321 or related project (for Calc and Writer documents, and [Word 97/2000/XP],[Excel 97/2000/XP] That will allow me to do pretty well anything with xls and doc files for free, where POI is presently letting me down? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
