User 400guy changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Summary|~OutputDevice: assertion o|assertion: OutputDevice::P |n printing impress doc wit|ush() calls != OutputDevic |h charts |e::Pop() calls -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from 400...@openoffice.org Thu Oct 7 21:58:59 +0000 2010 ------- I am commenting here rather than filing a new issue because ... (a) my assertion comes from the same basename and line number, and (b) my backtrace from when I first saw the assertion (on a larger file), which I shall soon attach to this issue, shows OutputDevice::RemoveTransparenciesFromMetaFile, which pl mentioned in his comment on 2010-05-27. As my occurrence of the assertion came up in Writer rather than Impress, I am changing the summary. All of this is on a guess; your guidance is welcome. This happened to me in a non-product build of DEV300_m88. To provoke the assertion, ... (*) Open file smaller.odt, which I shall soon attach to this issue. Program displays a big image, a small image, and a line of text starting "Screenshot showing ...". (*) On the tool bar, click the icon to Print directly. Program displays Debug Output ... Error: OutputDevice::~OutputDevice(): OutputDevice::Push() calls != OutputDevice::Pop() calls From File /home/terry/OOo_hacking/DEV300_m88/vcl/source/gdi/outdev.cxx at Line 529 Abort ? (Yes=abort / No=ignore / Cancel=core dump) For comparison, continuing from this point ... (*) Click No to continue. Program completes printing and redisplays the document contents. (*) Type Home Backspace Backspace. Observe that the second (small) image is gone from the document. (*) On the tool bar, click the icon to Print directly. Observe that the program does not raise the assertion. Here is how I prepared file smaller.odt. (*) From Welcome Center, click on Text Document. Program opens new Writer document Untitled 1. (*) In Firefox 3.0, display http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Printerpullpages . Near the bottom of the page, find text “Screenshot showing". Drag the mouse cursor through the entire table row containing that text and press ctrl-C. (*) In Untitled 1, press ctrl-V. Observe that the document now contains two images and the text starting “Screenshot showing”. (*) In the toolbar, press the icon Print directly. The program raises the assertion. (*) Save the file. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
